Our founder, Kate Winmill, had a vision in 2023 to create a cooking experience that was streamlined and fuss-free. She was tired of feeling disorganized and distracted in the kitchen. She writes:

I liked the appeal of cooking from a recipe card, like my mother and grandmother did, but I could never find the time to write them out. I decided to apply my love of web-design to create a typed template and when my friends and family saw them they all wanted a copy! And so, Winsome was born.
